About this riff
A murky little line on the two thickest strings. It only covers three frets, but it has to keep rolling like a clock.
The record is tuned down a whole step. Stay in normal tuning to learn it, and tune down before you play with the record.
What helps
- One finger per fret: first finger on fret 1, second finger on fret 2.
- Let the open A ring a little under the notes either side of it. That is where the wobble comes from.
- Keep your pick moving down and up even in the gaps, and the rhythm looks after itself.
