About this riff
One power chord shape, moved two frets at a time. The hits are short and the gaps between them do half the work.
What helps
- First finger on the low E string, third finger two frets up on the A string. That shape never changes.
- Ease your fretting hand off the strings straight after each hit, so the chord stops dead.
- Keep your fingers on the strings when you shift. Slide, do not jump.
