How to play Quebec by Drake on guitar
Quebec is a strong pick if you want a moody, steady groove that sits well under your fingers. At about 120 BPM, it feels controlled and focused rather than rushed, so you can lock in the pulse and let the progression carry the song.
You will need to move between open shapes and barre shapes, so it is a good intermediate workout. The opening progression is Cm - A# - F - D#, and the main thing to watch is the shift from the barre shapes into F, then back into another barre shape without losing time.
Start by looping the opening progression slowly and making each chord change clean. Then practice the barre shapes on their own, add the open shapes, and only after that bring everything up to tempo. Once the changes feel smooth, play along with the full track and keep your strums even.
Use the play-along above to follow each chord change in time with the music, or learn the shapes first with the chord diagrams below.
