How to play Barsaat by Banjaare, Roni on guitar

Barsaat is a great beginner song to learn because it stays in a small loop and gives you a steady, upbeat feel at about 120 BPM. You can focus on clean changes and a relaxed groove instead of memorizing a lot of different parts.

You will mostly use open shapes for G, Am, and D, with Bm as the harder barre shape. The main change to watch is the move into Bm and back out of it, since that is usually where your hand will slow down first. The opening progression is G - Bm - Am - G, and the song keeps cycling these same chords.

Start by practicing each shape one at a time, then loop G - Bm - Am - G slowly until the changes feel smooth. After that, bring it up to song speed in short repeats, keeping your strumming even and your fingers close to the fretboard.

Use the play-along above to follow each chord change in time with the music, or learn the shapes first with the chord diagrams below.
